Nevertheless, the dropout rates in the secondary stage for children between 12 and 15 years is as high as 90% and therefore it is one of the highest dropout rates in the world. Morocco is both becoming an industrial country and remaining highly traditional at the same time. Especially women are expected to fulfill a certain role which means staying at home and manage the household.
