Volunteer for the Great Barrier Reef and experience one of the world's largest marine ecosystems with turquoise waters, kaleidoscopic and abundant life. Even though it is one of the world's seven natural wonders, the Great Barrie Reef is at grave danger. In the past three decades, it has lost half its coral cover due to coral bleaching.
As a marine conservation volunteer at the Great Barrier Reef, you will have a direct impact on the lives influenced by this massive ecosystem. You work with injured sea turtles, collect data while diving in Australia, between the corals, and raise awareness of the Great Barrier Reef conservation. Teach people how to respect and preserve this unique marine environment.
