About the program
At the Habibi Center, we teach around 50 eager teenagers each day. But don't worry! The average class size is 6 students, which is why we feel like a small community!
Habibi Center considers 3 main aspects when accepting volunteers:
Professionalism: The Habibi Center has a minimum age requirement of 22. Our students are between 13 and 19 years old so, for this reason, we feel the need for our volunteers to be mature enough and to present themselves in a ...

Details on arrival
- We will show you around the Habibi Center, the books and materials we use.
- We will show you around the city (where you can get groceries, the bakery, the stationery shop, and the photocopy shop).
- We will recommend cafes and restaurants, and places to visit while you are here.
- At this time, we will also help you to get a SIM card for you to be able to communicate with us and have DATA on your phone.
- We will discuss safeguarding policies.
- We will discuss the history and management of the Habibi Center.
