About the program

Our community-based programs are focused on empowering the local communities and individual people.

You experience the daily life and culture in Tanzania while witnessing the growth of one of the fastest-growing African economies.

Volunteers will participate in and develop the NGO's daily operations. We commonly have 15-40 volunteers and interns from over 400 universities worldwide, with whom we cooperate and represent a variety of professions.

All this must be managed, including each student's weekly plans and reports, making budgets and accounts, developing ongoing community programs, and planning new approaches.

The internship outcome is to learn to use and get experience implementing your education in developing country conditions with limited capacity and, most importantly, to learn work skills to run an NGO in Africa.

Work hours are 6-8 hours per day, Monday through Friday. Your program can be from 2 weeks up to 12 months.

We can take students in all year round as all programs are ongoing. We accept applications from all students and alums. Your placement is tailored to your background, experience, and interests to empower our daily work with the communities.

You can also conduct a thesis, do related tasks, and do internship placement.

The typical daily morning tasks include practical fieldwork in the schools and communities and planning, reporting, and social media visibility functions.

You and your visiting friends can enjoy cheaply sustainable tourism, safaris, and local tours. We need your tentative arrival and departure (adjustable) to book you in and open your account.

The participant will develop human rights materials to study the present legislation and changes in the bill. Some rights issues, such as LGTB rights, are sensitive in Africa and must be adjourned accordingly.

Much of the work involves advocating for implementing the present human rights laws. The common public does not know their rights, and we support vulnerable groups such as women, children, and disabled people. You will use existing tool kits for seminars, develop them, and create new ones.

Much time will be spent on visibility. For example, Facebook is an excellent tool for reaching Tanzanians. Art in Tanzania's Facebook page has 38k likes, and we can deliver information to tens of thousands of Tanzanians.
