    About the program

Poverty, hunger, illiteracy, pollution, corruption, poor health, malnutrition, alcoholism, alcohol abuse, child abuse, violence against women, child inequality etc are major social issues we are working for.

Poor health, a scarcity of food, unsafe environment are all extra challenges for children living in poverty. Education has the power to transform society. We are trying to provide an enabling environment and quality of education to these disadvantaged children for their proper mental and social growth. We also support their families in takings technical skills and support them to take a loan from banks to start their own work.

Volunteers will closely work with the children at the centre, with their family members and with our teachers and caretakers.

Volunteers would support us in making difference in the lives of these children. Childcare volunteers play a crucial role in the lives of children they work with by serving as positive role models, provide daily interaction to help them develop social and emotional skills, and encourage creative learning through play and structured activities.

Volunteers have an opportunity to make an important difference in the lives of children. This volunteer role required hard work, but it is rewarding for people who enjoy interacting with children and guiding them as they grow and learn. Volunteers usually perform a variety of duties as they the children with their education and extracurricular lesson, helping with homework, and general education on life skill and personal hygiene. Help feed and spend quality time with them through playtime activities.

Basic childcare is a primary function of volunteers and much of a volunteer’s time is spent monitoring children to ensure they remain safe as they go about their activities.

the play is an important work for children. Play helps children share with others and cope with their feelings while developing verbal and nonverbal communication skills. The play also helps develop children’s fine motor development and help them develop confidence. Volunteers usually assist with age-appropriate activities such as art and craft, reading, writing, dancing, singing and playing games.

Volunteers can expect from as an enabling environment for volunteering, good hospitality and opportunity to express their talent and experience in the project. For volunteering in a child care centre volunteers are required qualities like creativity, patience, understanding of tackling small children.

Volunteers can join the day-care centre project. These day-care centres are mainly for children of below poverty line (BPL)/ labour class families. Most of the parents of these children are either sweeper or daily wages labour and are not able to take care of their children properly. If you join this program with us, you will have to play a significant role by providing the children with proper care, love and warmth. Volunteers provide one on one attention to each and every child and focus on their overall holistic development. You can also help the day-care staff by assisting them in daily jobs such as teaching and playing games with the children. The support that can be provided by volunteers at a day-care centre

    • Maintaining the attendance sheet for the kids coming to the centre.
    • Informing the parents about the activities of their kids.
    • Create a vibrant and playful environment through interactive games, fun activities etc.
    • Decorate the day-care centres with colours, papers and crafts to make it look more beautiful.
    • Encourage more children to come and join the centres.
    • Help staff in teaching kids with fun.
    • Cultural activity with kids.
    • Volunteers can teach music, dancing, clay toys etc.
