    About the program

Freshwater Aquaculture and Community Development Project

it involves learning freshwater aquaculture farming in order to generate revenue for the community.

Freshwater aquaculture is the practice of producing and breeding aquatic animals and plants for commercial reasons in ponds, reservoirs, lakes, rivers, and other inland waterways (including marshy water), all of which play an essential role in the aquaculture business. In 2011, freshwater aquaculture production reached 44.3 million tons, accounting for 29% of global fisheries production.

In this project we not only help these aquatic animals grow naturally but also generate source of income for the community by preaching modern ways to do the farming. Volunteers coming from round the globe can learn from experienced aquaculture trainers and gain hands on practical experience on this subject.
