Peru is one of the most diverse countries you could go to: it has everything from jungle to mountains, from historical cities and inca ruins to a bustling modern capital, from sandy beaches to sandy desert oases... Peru has everything you would like to discover as a traveler and far more. Some of the places we would recommend you to visit during your stay here are:

  • Lima: Peru's capital, it's located in its central coast. Here you may find modern buildings and beautiful historical monuments, with warm temperatures all year round. Lima has even been declared a World Heritage Site due to its astonishing concentration of monuments. Some of the monuments we recommend you to visit are the Citadel of Pachacamac, the palace Torre Tagle Plaza de Acho, the House of the Inquisition, the National Museum, and the Alameda de los Descalzos.
  • Cusco: Known as the "Navel of the World" and the city where you will be staying at during your volunteering, it's one of Peru's main tourist spots. Cusco is well known for being a charming and mystical city, filled with unique churches, colonial buildings, picturesque streets, and very friendly people. While in Cusco, you can visit places like the Plaza de Armas, Qurikancha,  and Saqsaywaman. Additionally, from Cusco you can go visit Machu Picchu, one of the archaeological jewels of the world, and a place you can definitely not miss.

Meet your organization

ADVENTURE VOLUNTEER is a non-profit organization, established in 2017. We collaborate in the social and environmental field through projects of conservation and protection of the environment and animals, as well as in the social part through projects of empowerment of women, community development, functional diversity, medical or teaching.

Our team of collaborators has a deep experience in international volunteer programs.  We know all the realities of the areas where we are working, collaborating and where we have a presence.

Our projects offer volunteers the opportunity to meet, share and participate in social and environmental projects. These projects demand educational and recreational activities that benefit communities of different cultures and customs, communities with economic difficulties and different degrees of social exclusion.
