For allegories and props, children making and painting their allegories using recycled carapaces as a simple and inexpensive method for replicating allegories. Each participant makes his custom (a turtle carapace) with papier mache and paints, his instruments with cans or bottles for the many special parades.

Volunteers do not need special equipment or Portuguese as fluency. Although it can help, the children's contact with new languages and new forms of communication, such as art and music, make the experiences for both very special.
