About the program

Join the Content Creation Program in Athens, Greece! Many non-profit organizations in Greece rely on digital tools and marketing materials to promote their missions, attract volunteers, and raise funds. However, these organizations often struggle to financially support skilled professionals in these roles.

This program seeks volunteers with expertise in areas such as website development, graphic design, videography, photography, and communication to fill this gap. As a volunteer, you will collaborate with our local team and the staff of these organizations to understand their specific needs and agree on a set of deliverables for your project period.

Your work will be vital in helping these NGOs reach a wider audience, communicate their impact, and strengthen their presence online and in the community.

What to Expect:

  • Website Development: Improve and enhance NGO websites with engaging content and media that effectively communicate their missions.

  • Graphic Design: Create visually appealing marketing materials, including flyers, advertisements, social media posts, and logos, to help NGOs attract more volunteers and support.

  • Videography and Photography: Produce compelling promotional videos and document NGO activities for use in social media and marketing campaigns.

  • Copywriting: Craft engaging narratives and content that highlight the missions and stories of these organizations, helping them connect with their audience.

  • Content Creation: Use your creativity to develop unique and impactful content that supports the non-profits in their outreach and fundraising efforts.

Daily Tasks:

  • Develop and Enhance Websites: Work on improving NGO websites by adding engaging content, optimizing user experience, and ensuring the sites effectively communicate the organizations’ missions.

  • Design Marketing Materials: Create graphics for various promotional needs, from social media posts to printed materials, ensuring a consistent and attractive visual identity for the NGOs.

  • Produce Video and Photo Content: Capture and edit videos and photos that tell the story of the NGOs, showcasing their work and impact in the community.

  • Write Compelling Copy: Develop written content that engages and informs, crafting stories that highlight the importance of the NGOs' work.

  • Collaborate with Local Teams: Work closely with local staff to understand the specific needs of each organization and deliver content that meets those needs.

Why Join?

  • Make an Impact: Use your digital and creative skills to support NGOs in Athens, helping them reach more people and strengthen their missions.

  • Gain Experience: Develop and refine your skills in website development, graphic design, videography, and copywriting while working on meaningful projects.

  • Cultural Immersion: Experience the vibrant culture of Athens while contributing to important social and environmental causes.

2024 at Youth Supporter

I recommend this experience to absolutely anyone, it was the best of my life. The first week my placement was in a Skatepark in Cascais, so I had to catch a train and then a bus. Although it was good and the commute was fine, I didn't feel comfortable at the beggining so I asked to switch to a ...

Honestly, I was surprised, when on the website it shows photos of so many dogs, animals, it turned out I was working at a cat sanctuary. It's not that I was disappointed by the cats, it was just a shock, and also, at points of the sanctuary I feel like I wasn't apart of it massively, there wasn't ...
